I’ve not been updating a lot recently because I haven’t known what to say here. It’s tough excerpting things from my life and deciding what’s appropriate for a general audience!
I guess the most interesting thing to happen in the past couple of weeks has been the arrival of three new toys at Wayne Manor Studio:

Moog Etherwave Theremin
Moog Minimoog Voyager Electric Blue Edition
(Click for closeup. Mine has an oak cabinet.)
Dell 2405FPS 24″ 1920×1200 LCD
All are being put to good use, naturally ^_^ Music as it’s ready!
*drool*
I was tempted by the deals Dell had on the 2005FPW last week,
but the 2405FPS .. thats just crazy!
Quite odd to read this post *just* after watching
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0378378/# Moog (2004) and
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108323/# Theremin: An Electronic Odyssey
I guess it’s safe to assume you’ve seen both ?
“It’s tough excerpting things from my life and deciding what’s appropriate for a general audience!”
Dear General Audience,
As you probably know quite well by now, life can sometimes be excruciatingly difficult to excerpt from. It has always been my unwavering concern that nothing inappropriate for you be excerpted from my life. Ever. However, a strange phenomenon has been happening lately: appropriate things have been disguising themselves as inappropriate, and vice versa.
General Audience, would you please help me clear up this unholy mess?
Sincerely yours,
Joan

Dear Joan,
We are sorry to hear about your predicament. If it’s any consolation, you are not alone. Many a worthy blogger has been frustrated into utter paralysis by the very same dilemma you are facing now.
As much as We would like to help you, Our hands are tied by the Code of Appropriateness.
Just remember: to excerpt is human.
Yours,
G.A.
case, absolutely — they are both fantastic documentaries. The lack of a mention of Wendy Carlos in the Moog documentary really is a shame, though; without their collaboration who’s to say where electronic music would be today?
