cough cough

I think my allergies are getting worse. After every meal for a few months now, I’ve been having coughing fits. And now, for the last week or so, after every meal I feel this lump in my throat, as if I can’t breathe . . . and it’s not getting better. I’m worried, but I also don’t trust the Japanese medical system’s doctors to correctly diagnose my allergy problems. Does anyone have any ideas?

  1. One way you could find out if it is allergies is to get a prescription for a good antihistamine (Allegra, Zyrtec, Claridin). If your coughing persists after a couple of weeks of meds, I’d venture into the Japanese medical system.

A friend from Nebraska told me that her brother is allergic to corn pollen and, not surprisingly, their house is surrounded by corn fields. If that isn’t bad enough, he worked as a farmhand loading up the corn. Sux.
